A new affordable community music tuition center has enrollments open
for 2012. This is for school students up to the age of 15 who wish to
learn keyboards in Saturday Morning Classes. We have fully registered, experienced and qualified music teachers in a convenient central location.
They cost $70 per 10 week term per student which will be adjusted accordingly to the length of the term. They are half an hour long each week. Classes start 2nd week of school term which is Saturday the 11th of February and run from 9am till 1pm.

BUGGY WALK
Get out and about this summer - the February Buggy Walk will be held at Queen Elizabeth Park, on the Kapiti Coast. Make sure you come and join Sport Wellington and the Greater Wellington Regional Council for this event. The walk takes participants along an inland and coastal route, with regular ups and downs. Participants will see picturesque scenes of the beach, Kapiti Island and surrounding sand dunes. This walk also provides a great place for a picnic at the beach.
The event will be held on Thursday 2nd February, 2012. Participants are to meet at the picnic area by Whareroa Beach, MacKays Crossing end of Queen Elizabeth Park, from 10am for a 10.30am start. Here you can enjoy a complimentary coffee supplied by Caffe L?affare, and chat with the other mums and dads before the walk. By filling in our survey form after the walk, participants will go into the draw to win a $50 voucher from Baby on the Move.

STONESTEAD OUTDOOR QUILT FESTIVAL
"The 4th annual Stonestead Outdoor Quilt Festival will be held on Sunday
5th February between 10am - 4pm at 3 Plateau Road, Te Marua, Upper Hutt.
This is a celebration of quilting set in the beautiful gardens of the
historic Stonestead Cottage.

WAITANGI DAY FUN DAY IN UPPER HUTT
Orongomai Marae in Upper Hutt is celebrating Waitangi Day with a fun filled open day. There will be cultural events, displays, traditional kai and performances from a variety of multi-cultural groups. A tour of the Marae and explanation of the Treaty are available on the day. The event is free and runs from 9am till 2pm, starting with a powhiri. Orongomai Marae Open Day and Waitangi celebrations ?
